Gastonia leaders have greenlit a package of incentives aimed at luring a $20.6 million industrial investment into the city.
The name of the company that stands to be involved in that deal is only being referred to publicly as “Project Catamount,” as its identity is being withheld due to the competitive nature of its expansion. But local officials believe the city’s commitment, combined with that of Gaston County and the state, will make the local bid more enticing.
