Henderson’s Economic Status Major Topic at City Council Retreat

The Henderson City Council’s mid-year retreat late last week turned into a frank discussion about what could be done to address Henderson’s lack of economic development and decreasing revenue flows. The discussion arose from a general conversation about a city redevelopment plan, which has been talked about since early this year when the city presented the idea for a possible redevelopment area as a way to deal with blight and a decreasing tax base and property values.
