“McGill and Associates will look at all of our equipment and infrastructure,” Bordeaux said. “This will actually let us know exactly what we have, what should be funded, and what our priorities should be.” This is the first time such an an analysis of the town’s drinking water and wastewater systems has been made, she said, adding that doing so makes the town more competitive when applying for grants. “It lets you have a 10-point advantage over others when you have such a plan,” Bordeaux said. “When money is being given away those giving the money want to know what the money is needed for and exactly how it will be used.”
