New Greenville SEED Incubator Center Opens

May 12, 2017

Entrepreneurs now have a place to cultivate their ideas and build their businesses with minimal risk thanks to a partnership between the City of Greenville, the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce and East Carolina University. Representatives from the City of Greenville Office of Economic Development recently joined the chamber and ECU for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new Greenville SEED (Support for Entrepreneurial and Economic Development) incubator center. “This initiative provides emerging entrepreneurs with access to critical assets, capital and resources necessary to launch, grow and sustain their business,” Mayor Allen Thomas said. “We can’t rely solely on recruiting new companies. To better our community, we must also grow our own successful businesses.”
