The North Carolina chapter of the American Planning Association is recognizing five municipalities for great planning, restoration and collaboration in its annual Great Places contest. Public projects in Morehead City, Mebane, Mooresville, Winston-Salem and Lewisville are touted by the APA chapter as exemplary and important to North Carolina’s growth. The organization will recognize the winners at a press conference scheduled during Town Hall Day, the North Carolina League of Municipalities’ signature legislative advocacy event on March 29 in Raleigh.
