Online used-car retailer Carvana will open an inspection and recommissioning facility in Concord at the former Philip Morris site, a move expected to come with $33.2 million in investment and 413 new jobs over the next five years.
The center, which was previously reported by the Charlotte Business Journal and other outlets, was formally announced Thursday afternoon at the Cabarrus County Government Center in downtown Concord.
The move comes with about $2.7 million total in incentives.
